History:
Dorothea Tane (1848-1882) was born in the American southwest in the 19th century. She lived in Mesa City, Arizona and was the wife to sheriff Bill Tane. Dorothea and Bill gave birth to a son they named John. John Tane eventually became the western hero known as Johnny Thunder.
