Energy Absorption is the ability of an individual to absorb varying waves of energy into their body for a variety of purposes. In many cases, this energy can also be expelled for offensive attack or visual effect. Superman absorbs yellow ultraviolet radiation in order to replenish his Kryptonian cells. Firestorm can absorb thermal energy and rechannel it as concentrated atomic blasts.
